OTS provides wiring expertise for customers who use the Statewide Complex Cable and Wire contract to procure voice and data cable installations. These complex jobs require an in-depth understanding of cable and electrical standards as well as familiarity with the contracted vendors to ensure the final product meets the customer's needs. OTS experts perform a number of services in the course of each engagement:
- Site assessments to determine indoor and outdoor wiring needs
- Prepare detailed quotes that illustrate all contract options available
- Coordinate timelines with vendors and customers
- Assist with subordinate contracts when needed
- Perform quality checks
- Review vendor invoices for accuracy

Billing Rates
$75 per consulting hour. The scope of work required for each wiring job varies. OTS will provide an estimate of Complex Cable and Wire Consulting hours upon initiation of a project, but the estimate is subject to change as conditions and/or scope change.
This fee is billed separately on the customer’s monthly OTS invoice.
