Certifications for Substitutions (Last updated 8/4/2022)

If an applicant for an IT-titled position does not meet the minimum education or experience qualification then Civil Service will review any relevant certifications obtained by the applicant to determine if any can function as a substitute. This list constitutes Civil Service's determination regarding how much experience each certification equates to; two years of experience can substitute for a bachelor's degree. Applicants with more than one certification will be counted additively.
