Louisiana State and Local Fiscal Recovery Fund
Water Sector Program
Pursuant to the American Rescue Plan Act, Louisiana has allocated $300 million to the Water Sector Program, established by R.S. 39:100.56, from the state's allocation of ARP funding from the Coronavirus State Fiscal Recovery Fund. The program was established to provide grant funding for repairs, improvements and consolidation of community water and sewer systems around the state.
The first round of applications has ended and a date for round two will be announced soon. If a waiver will be requested for the match requirement, federal procurement procedures must be followed in procuring professional services.

Non-Entitlement Units of Local Governments
As part of the American Rescue Plan Act, Louisiana has been allocated more than $315 million from the Coronavirus Local Fiscal Recovery Fund for distribution to NEUs within the state. The state is required to distribute a proportional amount to each applicant NEU based on its population. Visit the application portal for more information about this program.
