| Subject: | New Deduction Code for LA State Police Officers Association |
The Office of State Uniform Payroll will establish a new deduction code for LA State Police Officers Association (DU PO) effective for the first pay day in July (07/03/98). Agencies may begin entering this new code in UPS on Tuesday, June 16, 1998. DUPO deduction activity will appear on the Monthly Deduction Register (by vendor), BL1472-01, in BUNDL View. This office will make a monthly consolidated payment for amounts deducted under this new code.
Agency personnel should update the Standard Accounting Procedures Manual and the On-Line System Users Manual with this information until a formal revision is issued. If you have any questions, please contact the UPS Help Desk at (504) 342-8928.
