| Subject: | Group Life Insurance Increase |
The State Employees Group Benefits Board of Trustees voted May 14, 1998 to increase the rate for group life coverage. This coverage is changing from $.22 to $.23 per $1000 face value per pay period effective July 1998. This rate increase applies to both the plan member and the employer/agency. An automated conversion of all employees to their new rate will be processed for all UPS agencies the first pay period in June, prior to making the Master File available to users for update.
All changes automatically processed by UPS for group hospitalization and life insurance will appear on a separate On-Line Record System Audit Report and will be available for viewing in BUNDL beginning Tuesday, May 19, 1998.
