OSUP normally uses United Parcel Service (UPS) to mail Uniform Payroll System checks. However, until the strike is settled, OSUP will be using United States Postal Service Express Mail delivery for Supplemental, Payable and Payroll Check distribution to all out-of-town user agencies.
Due to the processing time of Supplemental Checks, agencies may receive these checks a day later using this carrier service. Please note this is still within the OSUP time frame covered in Section 1.03 - "OSUP PAYROLL PROCESSING SCHEDULE" of the OSUP Standard Accounting Procedures Manual for distributing Supplemental Checks to User Agencies. Those agencies that are affected by this mail delivery change should advise employees that their checks may be given to them a day later.
