Comprehensive Annual Financial Reports 

The CAFR (Comprehensive Annual Financial Report) is the annual financial statement for the State of Louisiana. It contains information about the primary government; other entities for which the State is financially accountable and those entities having such a relationship with the State that omitting them would cause the financial statements to be misleading. The CAFR is prepared in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and as such is audited each year by an independent CPA, Office of the Legislative Auditor.
