Any claim or cause of action
against a state health care provider for an alleged act of medical malpractice
is covered by the State's Self-insured medical malpractice insurance policy.
All judgments and settlements are made by the State pursuant to R.L.R.S.
40:1299.39 et seq. There is no deductible for this coverage.
