The mission of the Charles B. Coreil Technical Institute Campus is to offer post-secondary occupational and technical training and related academic programs for citizens within its area of operation. The high quality instructional programs offered enhance the personal development of our citizens and contribute to the productive resources of the state by fostering economic development. This campus strives to meet its goal of providing its students an affordable education that results in a well-trained, credentialed workforce that meets the manpower demands of the private and public sectors.
This agency's recommended appropriation does not include any funds for short-term debt.
This agency does not have any long-term debt for Fiscal Year 1998-1999.
This agency's recommended appropriation also includes the following amount by means of financing for payments on the unfunded accrued liability of the Louisiana State Employees' Retirement System and the Teachers' Retirement System in accordance with the provisions of Article X, Section 29 of the Constitution of Louisiana:
