DIFFERENCE (TOTAL RECOMMENDED AND EXISTING OPERATING BUDGET)

The total means of financing for this program is recommended at 100.1% of the existing operating budget. It represents 77.9% of the total request ($34,117,951) for this program. In addition to the statewide adjustments cited above, a major reason for the increase from the existing operating budget is due to the non-recurring adjustment concerning $50,000 in general fund for installation of access capability to the Louisiana Online University Information System (LOUIS) at Grambling State University. LOUIS is an online library system that automates and links 21 state college and university libraries.
