11-432 Office of Conservation

The mission of this Office is to provide enforcement activities to ensure public safety and the integrity of our natural environment. The goal of the Office of Conservation is to protect and maintain the natural resources of the State of Louisiana. The Office of Conservation is composed of two programs. These two programs are: Oil and Gas Regulatory and Public Safety.

BUDGET SUMMARY

This agency's recommended appropriation does not include any funds for short-term debt.

This agency does not have any long-term debt for Fiscal Year 1998-1999.

This agency's recommended appropriation also includes the following amount by means of financing for payments on the unfunded accrued liability of the Louisiana State Employees' Retirement System in accordance with the provisions of Article X, Section 29 of the Constitution of Louisiana:
