07-273 Office of Management and Finance

The Office of Management and Finance provides the department with financial information, data processing, professional services, and purchasing; as well as monitoring and preparing its budget. All of these services assist the remaining programs in Department of Transportation and Development to accomplish their goals. The Office of Management and Finance has only one program, Support Services. Therefore the mission and goals of the Office of Management and Finance are the same as those listed for the Support Services Program in the program description that follows.

BUDGET SUMMARY

This agency's recommended appropriation includes $58,000 for short-term debt, including Lease Purchase agreements.

This agency does not have any long-term debt for Fiscal Year 1998-1999.

This agency's recommended appropriation also includes the following amount by means of financing for payments on the unfunded accrued liability of the Louisiana State Employees' Retirement System in accordance with the provisions of Article X, Section 29 of the Constitution of Louisiana:
