PROGRAM A: PAY ADJUSTMENTS

Program Authorization: Legislative Appropriation

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

This program reflects the surpluses of the pay supplement for education support personnel and pay raise for Non-MFP teaching personnel granted in Fiscal Year 1999. The FY99 appropriations to fund these salary adjustments were distributed to the various state agencies. A minimal surplus resulted after the distribution. The FY00 cost for these pay adjustments is reflected in each of the affected state agencies.

RESOURCE ALLOCATION FOR THE PROGRAM

This agency's recommended appropriation does not include any funds for short-term debt.

This agency does not have any long-term debt for Fiscal Year 1999-2000.

The total means of financing for this program is recommended at 00.0% of the existing operating budget. The 1998 Regular Session Legislature appropriated a lump sum appropriation in this budget unit to fund pay raises for certain education groups. The necessary funds were distributed to the appropriate state agencies, with a resulting $65,832 surplus.
