Welcome to the Louisiana Office of State Inspector General. The office's mission is to help prevent waste, mismanagement, abuse, fraud and corruption in the executive branch of state government without regard to partisan politics, allegiances, status, or influence.

On January 4, 2008, Governor Bobby Jindal appointed Stephen B. Street, Jr. as the new State Inspector General.
