BATON ROUGE - Commissioner of Administration Kristy Nichols announced today the appointment of Assistant Director of Facility Planning and Control (FPC) Mark Moses to the role of Interim Director upon the retirement of current Director John Davis.
"With over 17 years of experience at the Office of Facility Planning and Control, I have no doubt that Mark will do a great job as our interim director," said Nichols. "I am pleased that he will continue to serve his home state and play an even greater leadership role here with us."
Moses will be detailed by the Governor's office to serve as interim director of FPC effective August 9.
Commissioner Nichols also thanked and praised outgoing Director Davis, who will assist the Division in transition through August.
"John has been an invaluable member of our team, and his contribution cannot be overstated. I am grateful for all of the years of service and commitment he has given to the state of Louisiana. I want to thank him for the work he has done, and I wish him well in all of his future endeavors," Nichols said.
Biography of Mark Moses
A native and lifetime resident of Louisiana, Mark Moses has served as a career state employee with both the Department of Transportation and Development and the LSU Office of Facility Services. For the last 17 years Mark has been with the Office of Facility Planning and Control and currently serves as its assistant director.
Moses is a graduate of Louisiana State University in Mechanical Engineering and is a registered professional engineer.
