BATON ROUGE – Commissioner of Administration Kristy Nichols announced today that Meghan Parrish will serve as the Director of Communications for the Division of Administration.
"We're excited to welcome Meghan to her new role in the Division. She brings with her a wealth of experience and expertise, and I have no doubt that she will be a great addition to our team," Commissioner Nichols said.
Meghan comes to the position from the Office of Group Benefits. In her new role, she will lead the entire communications division and serve as a spokeswoman for the agency.
Biography of Meghan Parrish:
Meghan Parrish is a graduate of Louisiana State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in public relations. She has more than 15 years of experience in communications in both the private and public sectors. She previously served as the Louisiana Office of Group Benefits’ Communications Director, where she was responsible for member outreach and communications. Prior to that, Parrish served as Director of Communications at Amedisys, a publicly traded home health and hospice company based in Baton Rouge.
