(BATON ROUGE) Due to the mandatory evacuation along the Tangipahoa River, we are seeking state employees residing in the Baton Rouge area who are willing and able to assist with shelters if necessary, today, tomorrow, and Saturday, in Ponchatoula and Hammond.

If needed, you will be considered “at work,” and normal work-hour and overtime rules and procedures will apply.
