In order to increase the awareness of available funding opportunities to local governments and non-profits, the State Grants Management Section composes and mails out two newlsetters to all local governments and others that have shown interest. The Local Government Grant Update profiles grants, loans, and other programs with upcoming deadlines that may be of assistance to Louisiana's communities. The Local Education Agency (LEA) Update provides the same info specifically for those involved in education.
