Broadband Global Area Network (BGAN) Satellite Services

The Office of Telecommunications Management (OTM) has established contracts for Broadband Global Area Network (BGAN) satellite services and associated terminal equipment. These services provide satellite telephone and satellite internet protocol (IP) data capabilities covering the contiguous forty-eight United States.

The following contracts have been issued through the Office of State Purchasing (OSP):

• Stratos Government Services, Inc. - OSP Contract No. 407010

The contracts include user equipment devices (approximately laptop computer sized) as well as various service plans that vary from vendor to vendor. Agencies should work directly with vendors to determine needs and select appropriate equipment and service.

Agency orders for BGAN services and equipment do not require OTM approval and should be sent to the selected vendor. Agencies will be billed directly by the vendor.

The OTM Catalog of Services has been updated to reference these contracts.
