COMPUTER BASED TRAINING DEPLOYMENT OPTIONS
CPTP's computer-based training courses can be accessed in several different ways.
Option 1: Web-Based- Internet:
Web-based training is offered through CPTP's MindLeaders Internet website. The benefits of using the Internet for this training are:
- No local administration is required; CPTP Coordinators do not need to send in monthly or quarterly reports on usage
- Users automatically have access to all of the available courses
- Course updates and maintenance are done at a central location
- Reports are available to you on usage for your agency
If your agency blocks Internet access but you would like to allow users to access this one site,we can provide information for making that possible.
Option 2: Web-Based - Agency Intranet:
If your agency users do not have access to the Internet, but you still want a web-based training solution, you may install the training on your agency Intranet if your agency has one. You will need to have a technical support person install and maintain the training on the agency's web server. MindLeaders technical support staff will work with them to get the site up and running.
Option 3: Stand-alone CD-ROM Check-Out:
This is the solution for people who do not have access to the Internet or an agency Intranet. CPTP will send the MindLeaders courses on CD ROM, which can be installed on an individual computer by your IT staff.
