The Disaster Recovery Unit is a new section within the Division of Administration's Office of Community Development created by the Commissioner of Administration to administer the CDBG Disaster Recovery funds, amounting to $10.4 billion, allocated to Louisiana after Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. The Disaster Recovery Unit and the Louisiana Recovery Authority are tasked with developing programs through which to administer these funds, including The Road Home program.

www.rebuild.la.gov is a website that provides searchable, detailed information about rebuilding projects throughout storm impacted South Louisiana that are funded by FEMA Public Assistance and Disaster Community Development Block Grant.
